Cricket Care Instructions

Millbrook Crickets will be shipped to you in our own special made shipper for quality care. When you receive the shipper, immediately open the box and dump the crickets into a large plastic-type container. The container should have high sides (12 inches or higher) and slick walls which keep the crickets contained. A lid is not necessary. Leave the egg flats in the container to provide standing room for the crickets.

Water and cricket food should be provided if you intend on holding the crickets for longer than a day. Total Bites can be used used as a substitute for water and food. The crickets should be stored at room temperature and kept away from direct sunlight or heat. Crickets should never be exposed to ants or insecticides. Crickets must have a clean and dry environment. Total Bites can be used as a substitute for water and food, or a combination of Water Bites and Food Bites can be used to provide water and food.
